Sometimes it´s not very easy to find out – what do I love the most on me, what I do want to wear. But with your inspirational blog posts – I came forward. I remember always thinking you looked like the original Barbie from the 40’s when you had those incredible Betty bangs, I will admit I also got Betty bangs at that time haha. I just love your honestly, realness, and the fact you are you and has never changed to fit in. You have been my style icon for a long time. I finally purchased myself the nickel loop belt. It’s perfect. I want to wear it with everything. I’ve always had my own style, I remember visiting LA with my Dad in HS and he took me “shopping” on Rodeo drive, I found this pair of brown PLEATHER pants at Guess, and a pink crop top that was laced up the side. I thought I was so cool, but I moved from NJ to GA and it didn’t go over like I thought. It was in 2000. But I remember loving it and feeling so confident. I knew from that point I would always just dress how I like to dress and what I want to wear. Your never going to be everything to everyone. Thank you for being the woman who has stayed the same this whole time. Forever my style icon

Thank you for being so amazing! As a 35 year old mom of 4 who’s heavily tattooed, I always feel a little out of place. When I was younger getting tattooed it was always the idea to not fit into social norms (obviously) but when I became a mom I weirdly felt ashamed that I didn’t fit in. I’ve always loved fashion but never fit into that space either it felt like. Then BOOM you showed up on my tictok and gave me so much inspo to reclaim myself. So thank you! #ninforever

Sammi, you give me and my young daughters inspiration. We found you in January on TikTok. As a 40-something working mom stuck in the Midwest USA, you remind me to keep trying to find my personal style and to be brave enough to show it. My nearly 5-year-old has a special affinity for you and even makes her own “let’s get dressed” videos; they please her eyeballs. Thank you for sharing yourself with us.
