I am obsessed with your style. Mine changes very much on my mood and I tend to find black to be very colourful and my go to. Hey Kay, I most def do still enjoy it 🙂 The matte black is a tough one to look after. I would recommend the grained leather over it if you’re worried about marks etc. Personally, I prefer the Gucci Bamboo over the Dior, but I’m a huge top handle fan. You can also get that all black hardware situ with the Gucci. I have the mini, which I absolutely adore (https://rstyle.me/+iU8dIuFQqqrmqws6uxXmrw) – affiliate – but the small size would be more practical as an everyday bag. It also comes with two straps unlike the Dior, which doesn’t come with any.

Hi Sammie. I can’t wait for spring either. Please can I ask if you still enjoy the Dior saddle? I noticed you have the matte black. Would you recommend that one or did it end up getting damaged easily? Also love the all black Gucci bamboo so that’s another option I’m considering. Thank you x

I have to say, I wore tights under shorts in the late ‘80’s (Gen X here), but got out of the way of it once entering the corporate world. I’m now self employed (artist and — yes— tarot card reader), and have rediscovered myself a bit. You dusted off my memory and I’ve reintroduced the shorts and tights combo, thank you so much for that! I’m in my late 40’s, but I’m with you— wear what you want. I don’t look like I’m 48, I don’t act like I’m 48, and I sure as hell don’t dress like I’m 48. Thanks for the much needed reminder. I needed it.
